The reasons that can lead the user to need to know how to enable and disable Windows 11 screen contrast are the most diverse. For example, you are a person with some level of visual impairment. In this case, Windows 11 offers four high-contrast color themes.

In this post, we will guide you through the necessary steps to configure the contrast in Windows 11.

How to enable Windows 11 high contrast

To use Windows 11 screen contrast, follow the steps below:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Click Accessibility.
  3. Click Contrast Themes option.

4. Select an available Contrast Themes.

• Aquatic
• Desert
• Twilight
• Night sky

5. Click the Apply button.

After following the steps above, Windows 11 will activate High Contrast mode.

Tip: to disable screen contrast mode in Windows 11, simply select the None option.
